of fantasy and reality [30 Aug 2006|03:03pm] [ mood | relaxed ] [ music | breaking free by troy and gabriella ] i just finished watching the first season of uncanny xmen. yep, you've read right. the old school xmen cartoons. i used to watch that show about i dunno, a decade ago i guess with my cousins. we used to eat lucky me chicken noodles soup while watching these. it was our favorite. i paid a hundred pesos for kiko to burn all the seasons to a set of dvd-r's. i gave the dvd's to my cousin as a gift for his college graduation. but i got the first two seasons in my gigabeat. i love watching it. it is so addictive. it got me to reminisce on my childhood days, where everything was so much easier and way less complicated. sometimes i just want to deny that i am already an adult. i still want to be young. but i guess i have to face reality. back in my real world, i had a very successful start for my week. last monday, i managed to finish my machine problem for coe 111 and its documentation. afterwhich pau and i went straight to Alexan in sm north to buy 2n3904 bjt's for my design problem that is due the next day. at 5 in the morning i managed to make my design problem work and had it checked the next day. that's when i learned that my partner in mobot elective already finished the dead reckoning program for our mobile robot!! i am really having a great week. that is why i rewarded and let myself watch the xmen cartoons and forget first all the things i have to do. its so nice to just relaxed and be entertained. i wish i could do these things often. but that's fantasy land. i need to go back to reality. maybe after i watch the entire second season. :grin: 1 comment|post comment
